LEVEL: Improver/Intermediate
This masterclass is made to simply produce a higher dancing level in our small scene.
We do not believe you become a stronger dancer by learning new steps and combinations, so that is not what we will teach you. ...
We will work with:
• Role swapping: to increase awareness and sympathy for the roles we often dance with
• Leading and following with intention
• Leading and following with different parts of the body
• Shadow leading and following
• Creating new patterns and directions with creativity instead of following a pattern you learned in some workshop
• Leading and following with minimal contact
We will do our best to create a safe space for you all to share, connect and practice.
